John Pace, CPA
John began his career after earning a BA degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Governor’s
State
University in
Illinois in 1978. Starting as Controller for a privately held Automotive Truck Dealership in
Elmhurst
IL, he knew financial management and reporting for “service” companies was his niche.
In 1981 he received his Certified Public Accountant certificate and became a member of the AICPA. In 1991, after a short term as Accounting Manager for Chemical Card Services he received his MBA in Managerial Accounting from
DePaul
University in
Chicago,
IL.
After leaving Chemical Bank, he secured a job at a Chicago Ad Agency were at various agencies, holding positions from VP Director of Finance to SVP, Chief Financial Officer, John stayed with advertising for eighteen years, eventually moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 2001.
John joined the Norton Agency in 2005 and moved to Gainesville with his wife. Today, he oversees the financial accuracy and reporting for thirty plus businesses that are part of the Norton Family of Companies representing over 400 private investors.
